The announcement and awarding of the finalists of “Iveria – Brilliant” will be held on December 25, 2020. The move to the festival awards was due to Covid or due to certain restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We have a great responsibility to both Georgian and foreign participants, so we would like to inform you from the very beginning that December 25, 2020 will be held without any reason. In the first and given circumstances, the best version of the award ceremony and gala concert will be a mixed type – actually bringing the Georgian representatives to the concert, while involving foreign participants live (zooming) and launching video recordings of their songs. The second version will only be online rewards (via zoom). When Covid’s restrictions are lifted, then we will definitely hold a gala concert in real space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s online festival gala awards ceremony and concert will be held on the day of the enthronement of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II (Commemoration Day of St. Spiridon Triumphantel). This is somehow significant, because “Iveria – Brilliant” is with the blessing of His Holiness and Beatitude, therefore, this event, which will be held on December 25, is dedicated to His Holiness and Beatitude, the Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II. Chiaberashvili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many surprises await the participants and winners, the festival founder and organizers plan to transform the festival on a larger scale in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We are grateful to all the sponsors and partners who have supported the online festival (of course, the previous festivals as well), therefore, we will decorate them with special, highly honorable awards, because each of them has made a great contribution to the development of art in Georgia and the world. In presenting on the international arena and in the future perspectives\u201c, – said Nugzar Chiaberashvili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This festival is very important because it directly responds to and implements Article 349 d of the Georgia Association Agreement with the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We know and understand very well the excitement and expectations of our participants as to who became the winner and who will take trips abroad to similar festivals. At least be patient and everything will become clear. Remind participants and fans that the winner will be revealed by the bells, while the other winners will be decided by the jury. Here we will provide one interesting information to the participants: after the festival, a clip for the festival anthem will be created, the text of which is written by Lado Kakhadze, and the music will be composed by Tamar Aladashvili, and the arrangement will be composed by Zaza Gochitashvili. There will be two versions of the clip and at this stage we will keep both versions secret\u201c, – Nugzar Chiaberashvili told us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The online festival brought more development and success to the participants with disabilities. Helped set new goals and enriched their repertoire. According to the festival founder, all participants will have the opportunity for further development, which will determine their success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We would like to remind you that Georgia was the first to make the International Festival of Song, Dance and Art for Persons with Disabilities online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
